👤 About Elena
Elena Mihailova is Head of Content at VistaGamble, a role she has held since March 2024. She leads the editorial team, edits casino reviews, slot reviews and guides before they go live, and decides when a published page needs a correction.
Elena has worked in the iGaming affiliate sector for more than four years. In that time she has written and edited casino reviews and slot reviews, checked casino licences against the regulators' public registers, read welcome bonus and wagering terms, and compared payment methods, withdrawal limits and processing times across casinos. She has also written the guides that explain how casino games and bonuses work.
Her checks follow one rule: a claim in a review needs a source. Bonus figures, wagering requirements and withdrawal limits are checked against the casino's own terms and conditions, licence details against the regulator's register, and slot figures such as RTP and maximum win against the provider's published data.
For the game RTP check, the team opens popular slots in the casino's real-money lobby and records the RTP the casino actually runs, or notes that the game shows none, because many slots come in several RTP versions and a casino chooses which one to offer. When a casino changes its terms, the review is updated and the change can be followed in Argus, VistaGamble's public log of casino terms changes.
VistaGamble earns commission from some of the casinos it reviews. A commission never changes an Argus record, its severity or a casino's Terms Safety Score.
Elena studied computer science and software engineering at university, which she uses in the data side of the work: comparing figures across dozens of casinos and spotting when a number on a page does not match its source.
