Closing a Cashed Casino Account With Money Still in It Voids All the Funds

Worse for players

Very Negative

Clause 3.7 lets a player close a Cashed Casino account only when it holds no balance and no pending withdrawal, and closing it with a positive balance or a pending withdrawal voids all the funds on the account. Withdrawals run on VIP limits that start at €500 a day and €7,000 a month, and the casino reserves the right to decline one if less than €20 was wagered in that calendar month. A deposit bonus needs the deposit plus bonus wagered 35 times within 10 days and pays out at most 10 times the bonus, while more than 2,700 games cannot be played at all with a bonus active. Two more clauses end in lost money: identity documents for a refund not sent within 30 days forfeit all funds in the account, and a reasonable suspicion that the Terms were breached lets the casino confiscate the real money balance. Leaving Cashed Casino costs nothing only for a player who has already been paid in full.

What this means for players

Cashed Casino's general terms, version 1.12, cover the casino and the sportsbook on one page: accounts, verification, payments, bonuses, fraud, complaints, a long set of sports betting rules and three annexes on gamification, the Shop and Collections. The clauses that decide whether a player leaves with their money sit in the account, payment and fraud sections.

  • Closing an account with money in it voids the money. Clause 3.7 allows a closure only when the account has no balance, positive or negative, and no pending withdrawal, and continues: "In case you want to close your account with a positive balance or/and pending withdrawal requests, all the funds on your account will be voided." Clause 2.2 tells a player to close the account immediately if online gambling becomes illegal where they live, and clause 2.3 says the same to residents of the Excluded Jurisdictions, a list the casino may change without forewarning. The closure clause makes no exception for a player the terms themselves tell to leave.
  • Withdrawal limits start at €7,000 a month and follow the VIP level. The limits run from €500 a day and €7,000 a month at Level 1 to €1,500 a day and €20,000 a month at Level 5. The level is set from the 90 days before the request, can change with the ratio of deposits to withdrawals and the bonuses received, and drops automatically to the lowest level for a customer who has not been placing bets for a month. No more than three withdrawals can be pending at once. A winner who stops playing to wait for payouts falls back to Level 1, where a €50,000 win takes eight months to collect.
  • Payment waits on bets, documents and office hours. "The Company reserves the right to decline withdrawal requests if you have not met a minimum monthly wagering threshold of 20 EUR within the calendar month of the withdrawal request." Identity documents are due within 30 days of a request, and the casino reserves the right to withhold payment until they arrive and to close the account permanently if they are late, while it usually verifies them within 10 days. Requests are worked through within 3 business days after the request and/or after the last withdrawal was paid out, by staff working 6 AM to 5 PM GMT, Monday to Friday. A player who has stopped betting can be refused a payout until they bet again.
  • An unplayed deposit can cost 10% or 15%. Every deposit has to be wagered once before a withdrawal. If less than the deposit is bet, the casino reserves the right to cancel all winnings and keep a commission of 10% of the last deposit, at least €0.50, or 15% where the balance was funded by bank card or bank transfer. A card deposit withdrawn before it has been bet once in full can come back 15% lighter, with any winnings cancelled.
  • Deposit bonuses need 35x the deposit plus bonus in 10 days and pay out at most 10x the bonus. Unless a promotion says otherwise, a deposit bonus must be wagered 35 times the deposit plus the bonus within 10 days, and withdrawals from it are capped at 10 times the bonus, with anything above voided at the withdrawal stage. Real money is wagered first, a single bet above €100 before wagering is met counts as promotion abuse, a no-deposit bonus carries 40x wagering and a 5x cap, and no-deposit free-spin winnings stop at €80. A €100 bonus on a €100 deposit needs €7,000 of bets inside ten days and can pay out no more than €1,000.
  • More than 2,700 games are off limits while a bonus is active. Clause 7.10 says: "In addition, the Prohibited Games cannot be played at all when there is an active bonus on the account." Its list runs to more than 2,700 different titles. A separate list of Excluded Games counts 0% towards wagering, as do all table and card games, while live games, video poker and Plinko count 10%. A player holding a bonus has to check a list of thousands of names before opening a new game.
  • Two clauses reach the whole balance. Under clause 9.4, a reasonable suspicion of fraud, of illegal or improper activity, or that the player has otherwise breached the Terms lets the casino, at its sole and absolute discretion, void any winnings, cancel any pending withdrawals and confiscate the real money balance of the account. Clause 6.6.4 ties a refund to identity documents: "If such documentation is not provided within thirty (30) days of our request, then such refund or reverse transaction shall not be effected, Your Player Account shall be closed and You shall forfeit all funds in Your Player Account, such decision shall be final, binding and not subject to appeal." The trigger in the first can be any rule on the page, and the sanction in both reaches money the player deposited.
  • The inactivity fee can change without notice. After 180 days without a login the account is Inactive, and the casino may charge €5 a month, taking the whole balance when it is below €5, until the balance reaches zero. "We have the right to change the monthly administrative fee on our own discretion without notice." The fee is €5 today and the casino's to set tomorrow.
  • The terms never name the company or the law. The Company is defined only as the company operating the Website, and the governing-law clause reads in full: "Any legal claim or dispute arising under or in connection with the Terms or your use of the Website shall be settled in accordance with the applicable Law." The complaints section points to external options through a link rather than a named body. The casino may change the Terms at any time, and clause 11.3 says: "When you continue using the Website after any changes are made, you agree with these changes, no matter whether or not you received a factual notification of the changes or have familiarized yourself with them." A player cannot tell from the page who they are contracting with or which law decides a dispute.

One clause runs the other way. Customer funds are kept in dedicated client bank accounts, separate from the company's own, and the terms state that in the event of insolvency they are protected and shall be returned. The money is shielded from the company failing, and not from the clauses above.
