Asking LugarBet for a Refund Can Put the Remaining Balance Behind a 30-Day Notarised-ID Deadline

Kyc Requirements Refund Policy Assessed 29 Aug 2026 Assessed by VistaGamble Argus

Worse for players

Negative

A refund request to LugarBet must be submitted within 3 days of the disputed transaction, and funds still subject to wagering requirements or other restrictions cannot be refunded at all. The player may then be required to provide notarised or certified identification, and "If this is not provided within thirty (30) days of our request, your refund will not be processed, your account will be closed, and any remaining funds will be forfeited." The policy adds: "This decision is final and not subject to appeal." A request for one transaction back can put every other fund in the account on the same 30-day clock.

What this means for players

The LugarBet refund policy is twelve sentences long and complements the general terms. Most of it sets the conditions for a refund. The last three sentences attach a penalty to asking for one, and it is the heaviest in the document.

  • Three days to ask. "Refund requests must be submitted within 3 days of the disputed transaction." Each request then goes through an investigation, and the player is told the outcome once it is complete, with no time given for that. The player's deadline is counted in days and the casino's in nothing at all.
  • Nothing under wagering. "Refunds will not be granted for funds subject to wagering requirements or other restrictions." LugarBet's general terms also require every deposit not linked to a bonus to be wagered at least once before a withdrawal. The policy does not say whether an unplayed deposit counts as funds subject to a wagering requirement.
  • The card first, the rest elsewhere. When a player deposited by credit or debit card and the withdrawal amount is equal to or less than the deposit, LugarBet reserves the right to refund it to the same card, and any excess is refunded by an alternative payment method. The policy does not name the alternative method.
  • Held until identity is verified. "Refunds may be withheld, or transactions reversed, until your identity has been fully verified to our satisfaction." The standard is LugarBet's satisfaction, so the player cannot tell from the policy when verification is complete.
  • Thirty days for notarised ID, then forfeiture. The player may be required to provide notarised or certified identification in accordance with the laws of their jurisdiction. "If this is not provided within thirty (30) days of our request, your refund will not be processed, your account will be closed, and any remaining funds will be forfeited." "This decision is final and not subject to appeal." A player who cannot reach a notary within a month loses not only the refund but whatever else the account holds.

The three-day window and the wagering exclusion narrow who can ask. The last clause decides what asking can cost: the refund, the account and the remaining balance, with no appeal against any of them.

LugarBet Deposit Bonus Terms & Conditions
-4 Score
Negative Initial Assessment

Unless a promotion states otherwise, LugarBet's deposit bonus terms require the qualifying deposit and the bonus to be wagered 30 times on eligible games. What can be withdrawn from bonus winnings is limited to kr14,000, with anything above that forfeited when the bonus balance converts to real money. Bets come out of the real-money balance first and real-money wins stay real money, so the cap reaches only what the bonus balance wins. The document sets no maximum bet and no deadline for the wagering. At a 100% match, a kr1,000 deposit needs kr60,000 in bets before the bonus converts, and no more than kr14,000 of what the bonus wins can leave the account.

LugarBet Payment Policy
-2 Score
Slightly Negative Initial Assessment

The LugarBet payment policy limits withdrawals to €10,000 a week and €40,000 a month, from a minimum of €50, and "If withdrawing winnings of €40,000 or more, we reserve the right to pay out the amount in instalments." The policy gives no instalment size or schedule, and no interest accrues on what is outstanding. Deposits not part of a bonus must be wagered at least once before a withdrawal, and if fraud or money laundering is suspected LugarBet reserves the right to forfeit all funds and close the account without prior notice. A win of exactly €40,000 is already inside the instalment rule, and the policy does not say how long it can take to arrive.

LugarBet AML & KYC Policy
-1 Score
Slightly Negative Initial Assessment

The LugarBet AML and KYC policy says: "We reserve the right to restrict the service, payment, or withdrawal until identity is sufficiently determined, or for any other reason in our sole discretion based on the legal framework." Documents can be requested at any time, and the check may ask for a government-issued photo ID, a selfie holding the ID and a bank statement or utility bill. The policy sets no deadline for sending them and no time for checking them. The second half of the restriction clause is not tied to verification at all, and the policy does not name the legal framework it points to.
