Kryptosino Allows 24 Hours to Request a Refund and Forfeits the Whole Balance If Certified ID Takes Over Five Days

Worse for players

Very Negative

The Kryptosino refund policy considers a request only within twenty-four (24) hours of the transaction, or within 30 days where another person or a minor is said to have used the account, and "No refund can be completed once the alleged deposit (including the bonus) has been played using the Kryptosino service." Before any refund the casino may demand notarised or certified identification. "If such notarized or certified identification is not provided within five (5) days of our request, then such refund or reverse transaction shall not be effected, Your Player Account shall be closed and You shall forfeit all funds in Your Player Account, such decision shall be final, binding and not subject to appeal." A request for one deposit back can end with the whole balance gone, on a deadline no longer than the five working days the casino gives itself to pay a refund.

What this means for players

The Kryptosino refund policy runs to six short paragraphs. They set when a refund can be asked for and when it is paid, and one sets what asking can cost: a certified-ID deadline whose miss closes the account and forfeits everything in it.

  • Twenty-four hours, and only for an unplayed deposit. "A refund request will only be considered if it is requested within the first twenty-four (24) hours of the alleged transaction, or within thirty (30) days if a Player alleges that another individual (or a minor) has accessed his/her Player Account." A separate line rules out any refund once the deposit, bonus included, has been played. A deposit that has been played at all is outside the policy, however soon the request comes.
  • Withheld until the casino is satisfied. "We reserve the right to withhold any refund or reverse transaction until the identity of the Player Account User is adequately established to our satisfaction, in order to ensure that any payment made to Us will be honoured after a refund has been made." The test is the casino's satisfaction, and the policy does not say what satisfies it.
  • Five days for certified ID, or every fund in the account. "You agree to provide, in case We demand, a notarized identification, or any other certified identification in accordance with the applicable laws of Your jurisdiction." The next sentence sets the deadline: "If such notarized or certified identification is not provided within five (5) days of our request, then such refund or reverse transaction shall not be effected, Your Player Account shall be closed and You shall forfeit all funds in Your Player Account, such decision shall be final, binding and not subject to appeal." The forfeiture reaches all funds, not only the deposit the request was about, and the same sentence closes off any appeal.
  • Betting systems, with no sanction named. "Players should play using a fair method in all games and should not in any way affect the outcome of that game. This includes using computer aids, mathematical equations, betting systems etc." The list ends open and the page attaches no consequence to it, so a player cannot tell from it what counts or what follows.
  • Five working days to restore the funds. "The Player will receive a solution about refunding and after reviewing the funds will be restored in the time of 5 working days." The casino gives itself five working days to pay a refund and the player five days to produce notarised ID.

The windows for asking are short, and the casino may withhold a refund until it is satisfied. The one mandatory penalty on the page falls on the player who asked: a document not produced in five days ends the account and everything in it.

Kryptosino KYC Policy
-2 Score
Slightly Negative Initial Assessment

Under the Kryptosino KYC policy, an automated email asks for documents once a player reaches a deposit threshold that the policy does not state, and "No withdrawals are processed from a customer’s account until the KYC verification is completed." A player who has not sent documents within thirty (30) days of the first request is asked again, and the account is disabled, with the deposit, gameplay and withdraw options switched off. The policy sets no time for the company to check what it receives. The only clock on the page runs against the player.

Clause 4.13 of the Kryptosino general terms reads: "The maximum withdrawable amount per week is 2,500 EUR or 10,000 EUR per month (or the equivalent in any other currency)." Only players with a higher VIP status can be given an exception, at the discretion of management, and clause 4.5 adds that the limits may change from time to time at the Company’s sole discretion. A withdrawal of €10,000 or more may be divided into instalments with no interest on the amount still owed, and a self-exclusion requested by email takes effect only once a confirmation email arrives, with winnings in the meantime forfeited. At the monthly limit a €50,000 win takes five months to collect, and the terms leave the operator free to change that figure without asking.
