Worse for players

Very Negative

Megapari's casino deposit bonuses are wagered 35 times the bonus amount, within 7 days for the welcome bonuses and 2 days for the 50% tenth-deposit bonus, at stakes of no more than €5. Once a bonus is redeemed, the funds credited to the main account cannot exceed the total bonus amount. Wins over €10,000 are treated as Big Wins that the bookmaker's partners must approve before they reach the account, and complaints about bets placed more than 10 days earlier are rejected. A €500 first-deposit bonus asks for €17,500 of bets in a week, and the most it can add to the main account is €500.

What this means for players

Section 14 of the Megapari rules governs the casino: bonuses, the welcome package, a 50% tenth-deposit bonus, gifts, a stop list of excluded games, and what happens on errors. The wagering multiple of 35x on the bonus amount is the market's usual figure. The clauses around it decide how much of a cleared bonus is ever cash.

  • A cleared bonus converts only up to its own size. "Once the Customer's bonus has been redeemed, the main personal account is to be credited with the remaining bonus funds." The next sentence sets the ceiling: they cannot exceed the Customer's total bonus amount, and a bonus balance left below the minimum stake is treated as lost. A €500 first-deposit bonus needs €17,500 of bets, and the most it can add to the main account is €500.
  • 35x in 7 days, or in 2 days on the tenth deposit. The first deposit bonus starts at a €5 deposit and goes up to €500, the second up to €1,000, each wagered 35 times within 7 days at no more than €5 a bet. The 50% bonus on the tenth deposit needs at least €10, goes up to €300 and is wagered 35 times. "As for the time limits, any activated bonus is subject to being mandatory redeemed within 2 (two) days, or 48 (forty-eight) hours." The maximum tenth-deposit bonus needs €10,500 of bets in 48 hours, which at the €5 stake ceiling is at least 2,100 bets.
  • Table games count for nothing, and about 1,500 titles are on the stop list. Bets in Table Games, Baccarat, Roulette, Blackjack, Keno, Scratch, Bingo, Poker and "Others" are not subject to the wagering rule, section 14.2 lists roughly 1,500 more excluded titles, and every game taking part in a tournament at the time of wagering is excluded too. The section adds that the list may change from time to time and that the most recent one comes from Customer Support. Which games count can depend on the tournament running at the moment the bet is placed.
  • Accepting bonuses can itself be abuse. The section defines abuse as bonus funds of 70% obtained on between 5 and 9 deposits, or 50% on 10 or more, and lets the bookmaker ban the player from bonuses. "It can also annul any winnings received with bonus funds both in the course of wagering and after it ends." A player who took the bonuses on offer can meet the definition without any other rule being broken, and the annulment reaches winnings after the wagering is finished.
  • A prohibited strategy that starts with a forbidden bet. Among the listed strategies is placing bets above €5 to grow the bonus balance and then reducing stakes more than twofold for no clear reason, along with postponing game rounds and switching between low- and high-contribution games. On a bonus abuse finding, the bookmaker may cancel all available bonuses and their winnings and block the account. The strategy is described as beginning with stakes above €5, which the same section already forbids while a bonus is unredeemed.
  • Big Wins wait for unnamed partners. "All winnings exceeding €10,000 are viewed and processed as Big Wins." Such winnings are to be approved and confirmed by the bookmaker's partners before they can be added to the account and withdrawn. The section does not say who the partners are or how long the approval takes.
  • Ten days to complain, and the server decides. "The Bookmaker explicitly rejects any complaints or disputes related to any facts or events concerning bets made more than 10 (ten) days prior." Where the screen and the server disagree, the server's records take precedence. A dispute about a bet placed two weeks ago is closed before it is raised.
  • Bonus rules that can change, and one that points outside the section. The bookmaker reserves the right to alter the terms of all bonuses, suspend them or terminate them at any moment, and the welcome bonus activates within 24 hours once the requirements set out in paragraph 27.1 are met. Section 14 is the casino section, and no paragraph 27.1 appears in it.

The welcome bonus looks standard on its headline numbers: 35x, a €5 maximum bet, up to €500. The conversion ceiling is what changes its value. However much a player wins while wagering, the bonus pays out at most what it was worth on the day it was credited.
