Novajackpot Puts Spain on Four Slot Bans and Removes NetEnt From Canada

Slightly NegativeSpain was added to the restriction lists for Planet of the Apes, Vikings, Narcos and Street Fighter in four separate clauses, and clause 15.2 now lists Canada among the countries where NetEnt games are unavailable — an entire provider removed in one word. Planet of the Apes picked up nine other jurisdictions in the same edit. One clause moved the other way: 15.7 opened Universal Monsters to Switzerland, Spain, Belgium and the UAE. Spain appears in five of the six edits, losing four titles and gaining three.

What this means for players
Novajackpot edited Section 15 of its General Terms and Conditions, "Additional territorial restrictions", on 1 July 2026. The section governs which games are available in which countries. The whole edit runs to 165 characters across six clauses.
- Spain added to four slot bans (15.3, 15.4, 15.5, 15.6). Planet of the Apes, Vikings, Narcos and Street Fighter each gained Spain at the end of an existing country list. Four clauses were edited to reach one country on one day.
- Canada added to the NetEnt list (15.2). Clause 15.2 names the countries where NetEnt games are unavailable, and Canada now closes the list. NetEnt supplies some of the most widely played slots in the market, so a single word removes a whole supplier's catalogue for one country.
- Planet of the Apes restricted in ten more jurisdictions (15.3). Switzerland, Hungary, New Zealand, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Canada, Slovenia, Slovakia and "Middle East" joined a list that previously held nine countries. It more than doubled, and one of the new entries is a region rather than a jurisdiction, so a player in it cannot tell from the document whether the rule reaches them.
- Universal Monsters opened to four countries (15.7). Clause 15.7 is written the other way round — it lists where Dracula, Creature from the Black Lagoon and The Invisible Man can be played — and Switzerland, Spain, Belgium and the UAE were added to it. This is the only edit in the set that gives players access rather than removing it.
- Clause 15.1 leaves the checking to the player. It states that by making use of these games the player warrants they are not a resident of a restricted jurisdiction, and that the restrictions follow provider policies "which may change from time to time". The obligation to know the current list sits with the player, and the list changed without notice on 1 July.
Five of the six edits narrow availability and one widens it. Spain is in five of them, losing Planet of the Apes, Vikings, Narcos and Street Fighter while gaining Dracula, Creature from the Black Lagoon and The Invisible Man on the same day.

Clause 19, the cap of €50 for up to 50 free spins and €100 above with the excess voided, is deleted two days after it was added. Winnings from the welcome package's 250 free spins are again limited only by the 40x wagering of Clause 13. The rest of the 20 August edit stands: Clause 18 keeps its new one-line 10x wording, and the two deleted clauses — the right to deny a bonus at any time and the right to demand documents before crediting one — do not return. The document now has nineteen clauses; on 19 August it had twenty-one.
A new Clause 19 limits what free spins can release to the real balance: €50 for up to 50 free spins, €100 for more than 50, and "Any amount exceeding that will be voided." The welcome package advertises 250 free spins in batches of 100, 50 and 100, so the most all of them can pay together is €250. The same edit rewrote Clause 18 from a five-country max-win rule into a one-line restatement of the 10x cap Clause 12 already applies to everyone, and deleted two clauses the casino had kept for itself: the right to deny a bonus "at any time, including prior to crediting", and the right to demand ID, proof of address and proof of payment before crediting one. One cap on the player came in; three rights held by the casino went out.
Four days after Clause 18's worked example grew from five currencies to thirteen, it shrinks again: PLN, NOK, AUD, CAD, CHF, CZK, HUF and NZD are gone, and 3,800 THB and 13,000 JPY — with ceilings of 38,000 THB and 130,000 JPY — take their place beside the euro, dollar, real, peso and sol. For the first time the example quotes a currency of Thailand or Japan, two of the five countries the 10x Max Win rule is written for. The deposit-bonus clauses keep all thirteen; the win-cap example is back out of step with them.
