Pickwin Bars Players in Belarus, Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk the Day Its Terms Change

Restricted Countries Terms of Use Detected 14 Oct 2026 Detected by VistaGamble Argus

Worse for players

Slightly Negative

Clause 3.1.3 of the Pickwin Terms of Use now bars residents of, and anyone accessing the website from, Belarus, Crimea, including Sevastopol, and the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, taking the list from 33 entries to 36. The terms state that amendments are binding and effective immediately upon publication, and they set no separate arrangement for accounts already open in these areas. A player there who already holds a balance learns of the ban from the same page that already applies it.

What this means for players

Clause 3.1.3 lists the places from which the Pickwin service must not be used, by residents and by anyone accessing the website from there. Three entries were added, and the clause now speaks of "countries or territories" where it said "countries", because two of the additions are regions rather than states.

  • Belarus. Added as a country in its own right. Russia was already on the list, and the ban now reaches its neighbour on the same terms.
  • Crimea, including Sevastopol. Listed as "Crimea (Ukraine), including Sevastopol", while the rest of Ukraine stays open. For a Ukrainian player, the region now decides whether the account may be used.
  • The Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Added as one entry naming the two regions of Ukraine. Ukrainian players outside the three named areas are not affected by this change.
  • Access counts as much as residence. The clause covers anyone accessing the website from one of the listed countries or territories, not only residents, and clause 2.4 states: "You may not use a VPN, proxy or similar services or devices that mask or manipulate the identification of your real location." A visitor in one of these areas is covered as fully as someone who lives there.
  • Open bets keep the old terms, balances get no rule of their own. The terms state: "Amendments will be binding and effective immediately upon publication on this Website." They add: "Any bets not settled prior to the changed Terms taking effect will be subject to the pre-existing Terms." Clause 5.3 states: "If we close or suspend your Account due to you not complying with these Terms, we may cancel and/or void any of your bets and withhold any money in your account (including the deposit)." Clause 8.9 sends a player with a closed or locked account to Customer Support to request the return of an eligible balance, and the document does not say whether money held by a player in a newly listed area is eligible.

The other edits in the clause are formatting: the bullet marks are gone, Côte d'Ivoire has its accent, "U.S. Virgin Islands" has its full stop and "the" now stands before Netherlands. For players in the three new areas, the line between a customer and a player in breach moved on the day the page was republished.

What changed

Was Restricted list did not explicitly exclude Belarus or specific Ukrainian regions (Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk).
Now Restricted list explicitly includes Belarus, Crimea (including Sevastopol), and the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
