Tsars Moves Its Deposit Wagering Requirement to the Top of the Clause

Clause 8.3.2.1 was rewritten so the deposit turnover requirement appears at the start of the clause rather than the end. The previous version closed with “Minimum threshold turnover for the slot games is equal x3 from the deposited amount and x5 from the deposit for all other games”. The new version opens with “Minimum wagering requirements are x3 of the deposited amount for slot games and x5 of the deposited amount for all other games”.

The obligation itself is unchanged — 3x on slots, 5x on all other games before a withdrawal escapes the fee. This record exists because the clause text changed, not because the requirement did. The practical effect is that a rule previously placed where it was easy to miss now sits at the top of the section; the terms give no reason for the edit, so the intent behind it is not something we can establish.

The fee attached to it is discretionary, not automatic. Clause 8.3.2 says Tsars “reserves the right to charge a 20% fee of the requested withdrawal amount” where the turnover has not been reached — a right the casino holds, not a penalty it commits to applying. Where it is applied, the clause states the fee “will be instantly deducted after the approval of the requested withdrawal”.

The worked example is Tsars’ own and survives the edit unchanged: a player who deposits €500, then a further €20 without meeting the turnover, must bet €1,560 in total (€500 x 3 = €1,500, plus €20 x 3 = €60). A new deposit does not reset the requirement on the previous one.
