Whamoo Keeps Deposits Out of Bonus Wagering but Wants 30x Deposit Plus Bonus in 7 Days

The Bonus Rules are part of Whamoo's general Terms and Conditions and govern every bonus on the site, with the welcome package, the Welcombo and the second and third deposit bonuses, set out in a section of its own.

• Two multiples, one example. "Unless otherwise stated in any specific Bonus/ promotion rules, the default WR is always forty times (40x) bonus." and "The WR for the welcome bonus package (1st, 2nd, 3rd deposit bonus) is thirty times (30x) bonus amount + deposit amount." The document's worked example, a €100 deposit and a €100 bonus at 40x the bonus, comes to €4,000. The same pair at the welcome multiple comes to €6,000, so the lower-looking number is the heavier one, because the deposit is counted in.
• Seven days from the deposit. "All Bonuses remain valid until 7 days after the required deposit has been made." Once that period ends the bonus is flagged as expired and "The expired Bonus funds are removed from the player’s account." Clearing €6,000 inside the window means wagering about €857 a day, every day of the week.
• The deposit is outside the bonus wagering. "Real money balance is used prior to Bonus balance." and "Your deposited balance and cash winnings related to the deposited balance are not restricted by the WR, and therefore can always be paid out." A withdrawal before the wagering is met pays out the cash balance and removes only the bonus and its winnings. Whamoo's general Terms and Conditions add a separate rule at clause 6.9, that any funds deposited must be wagered at least 6 times before withdrawal, so "always" holds against the bonus and not against that clause.
• €5 a round with bonus money. "All games have a maximum bonus money bet per round of €5,00 (or its equivalent in any other currency)." The limit includes doubling after a round and bonus rounds bought inside a game, and on a breach "Whamoo has the right to void any money won with bonus money and the bonus itself if a player is found to be in breach of this clause." The sanction is written to reach bonus money and its winnings, not the deposit.
• What counts, and what cannot be played. Slots and scratch cards count 100%, blackjack, video poker and poker 10%, and bingo, roulette, baccarat, craps, sic bo, live casino and jackpot slots not at all. A further 171 named titles, among them Dead or Alive, Gonzos Quest and Reactoonz, plus all bingo and jackpot games, cannot be played with a bonus. On the document's own figures, €1,000 of blackjack moves a €6,000 target by €100.
• No-deposit bonuses: 50x and a 5x cap. A no-deposit bonus carries 50 times wagering, and "The maximum payout you can request of the No-deposit Bonus and any related winnings is 5 times the Bonus amount." A €10 no-deposit bonus needs €500 wagered to pay at most €50, and only after the player has made a deposit. Free-spin winnings default to 40 times, and tournament bonus winnings to 50 times.
• Abuse is decided by Whamoo, with a stated limit. "If such a review brings forth any indication of the use of strategies by the player which Whamoo, in its sole discretion, deems abusive, Whamoo reserves the right to void winnings, refuse payouts and/or remove any redeemed Bonuses and/or promotions." The list includes using a VPN and switching from high-variance to normal-variance bets after a large win. On disputes: "In the event of a dispute, all decisions made by Whamoo will be final as far as they are not contradicting any applicable national laws or considered as unfair terms according to the EU Council Directive 93/13/EEC of 5 April 1993." The rules name the consumer law that can overturn their own final word.
• Changes stop at the opt-in. Whamoo reserves the right to withdraw a promotion at any time without prior notice, and "This will not affect anyone who has already opted into the Bonus/promotion, made a deposit where applicable, or has already started with the Bonus/ promotion and is expecting the Bonus when they fulfil the requirements." A bonus already running keeps the rules it started with.

The first, second and third deposit promotions are closed to players registered in Finland and Norway. For everyone else, the structure protects the deposit and prices the bonus: what a player puts in can leave without the bonus attached, and what the bonus adds has to be turned over thirty times with the deposit inside a week.
