ZetCasino Voids All the Funds of a Player Who Asks to Close an Account Before Emptying It
Worse for players
Very NegativeClause 3.7 of ZetCasino's General Terms and Conditions lets a player close an account only when it holds no balance and no pending withdrawal, and states what happens to a player who asks anyway: "In case you want to close your account with a positive balance or/and pending withdrawal requests, all the funds on your account will be voided." Withdrawals at the lowest VIP level are capped at €500 a day and €7,000 a month, a player who stops betting for a month is moved down to that level, and the casino reserves the right to decline a withdrawal in a calendar month with less than €20 wagered. Deposit bonuses carry 35x wagering on the deposit plus the bonus within 10 days and pay out at most 10 times the bonus. A player who wants to leave has to withdraw first and ask second, because the request to close is what voids the balance.

What this means for players
ZetCasino's General Terms and Conditions, version 1.12 last updated on 19 August 2026, cover the casino, the sportsbook and the coin shop. Under clause 13.9 the player agrees to contract exclusively with the Company, and clause 1.4 defines the Company only as the company operating the Website, which no clause of the document names. Clause 11.1 reads: "The Company retains the right to make any changes to the Terms at its discretion, at any time." Clause 11.2 makes checking for them the player's responsibility. The rules that decide the most about a balance are the ones on leaving and on withdrawing.
- Asking to close an account with money in it (clause 3.7). "You can only close your account if it has no remaining balance (positive or negative) and no pending withdrawal requests." The next sentence covers a player who asks anyway: "In case you want to close your account with a positive balance or/and pending withdrawal requests, all the funds on your account will be voided." Clause 3.9 is a separate right: "We reserve the right to deny opening of an account or close an existing account without prior notice or justification." It says nothing about the balance in that case. The document spells out what a player loses by leaving and is silent on what the player keeps when the casino does the closing.
- €500 a day and €7,000 a month at the lowest level (clauses 6.11 to 6.15). Limits rise with VIP level from Alpha (€500 a day, €7,000 a month) to Zeta (€1,500 a day, €20,000 a month). The level is set by activity over the 90 days before the request and can change with the ratio of deposits, withdrawals and bonuses received. Clause 6.12 adds: "The status of a customer who hasn't been actively placing bets for a month is automatically lowered to the lowest level." No more than three withdrawals can be pending, and requests are worked through within three business days, Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 5 PM GMT. A €50,000 win takes three months to collect at the Zeta level and eight at Alpha, and a Zeta player who stops betting for a month while it is paid out drops to Alpha.
- €20 of bets in every month a withdrawal is requested (clause 6.7). "The Company reserves the right to decline withdrawal requests if you have not met a minimum monthly wagering threshold of 20 EUR within the calendar month of the withdrawal request." A player collecting a large win in monthly instalments has to keep betting in every month a payment is requested, or the request can be declined.
- A commission on deposits not wagered once (clause 6.8). Every deposit must be wagered at least once before a withdrawal. Where the bets placed are less than the deposit, the casino reserves the right to cancel all winnings and keep 10% of the last deposit as payment expenses, never less than €0.50, or 15% where the balance was funded by bank card or bank transfer. For players in Japan, live casino games carry a 5x rollover instead. A €200 card deposit withdrawn after €100 of bets can cost €30.
- Deposit bonuses at 35x the deposit plus the bonus in 10 days, paid out at most 10 times the bonus (clauses 7.12 and 7.16). Any deposit casino bonus must be wagered 35 times the deposit plus the bonus within 10 days, and its maximum withdrawal is 10 times the bonus, the document's own example being a €10 bonus capped at €100: "Any winnings above 100 EUR (one hundred) will not be eligible for withdrawal and will be voided and removed from the account balance at the withdrawal stage." Slots count 100%, live games and video poker 10%, table and card games 0%, a bet above €5 before wagering is met is listed as promotion abuse, and a list of more than 2,500 games cannot be played at all while a bonus is active. A €100 deposit with a €100 bonus needs €7,000 of bets in ten days, and the most it can then pay out is €1,000.
- €5 a month after 180 days without a login (clause 6.18). "Each Month we may charge 5 EUR (five) as an administration fee while the Account remains Inactive. We have the right to change the monthly administrative fee on our own discretion without notice." The fee is €5 until the casino decides otherwise, and the document does not oblige it to say when it does.
- The real-money balance on suspicion of any breach (clause 9.4). On a reasonable suspicion of fraud, any illegal or improper activity, or any other breach of the Terms, the casino reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to void any winnings obtained, cancel any pending withdrawals and confiscate the real money balance of the account. The trigger reaches any term in the document, and the sanction reaches the deposit as well as the winnings.
- Thirty days to send documents (clauses 5.3 and 6.6.4). Requested documents are due within 30 days, failing which the casino reserves the right to withhold payment and permanently close the account. Where the documents were asked for on a refund, clause 6.6.4 goes further: "If such documentation is not provided within thirty (30) days of our request, then such refund or reverse transaction shall not be effected, Your Player Account shall be closed and You shall forfeit all funds in Your Player Account, such decision shall be final, binding and not subject to appeal." On a refund request, a missed deadline costs the whole balance rather than the refund alone.
Clause 6.17 runs the other way. Customer funds are kept in dedicated client bank accounts. "Consequently, in the event of our insolvency, your funds are protected and shall be returned to you." The balance is protected if the company fails and voided if the player asks to leave with it still in the account.
