Casinostars Holds Real-Money Play to a €3 Bet Limit for as Long as a Bonus Is Active
Worse for players
NegativeUnder clause 10.1.7 of the Casinostars bonus terms, a bonus stays active from the moment it is claimed until a withdrawal request has been processed or the balance falls to 1 EUR, and the clause states that playing with the real money balance rather than the bonus balance does not change that. For the whole period, clause 10.1.6 sets a maximum bet of 3 EUR per round and clause 10.1.8 forbids jackpot games, table games, video poker, virtual games, live casino and sportsbook bets. Clause 10.1.4 spends the real money first, and clause 10.1.3 limits withdrawals from a deposit bonus to 5 times the deposit, with any balance above that forfeited. A player's own deposit is played under the bonus's rules from the first spin to the first processed withdrawal.

What this means for players
The Casinostars bonus terms, last updated on 25 August 2026, cover a first deposit bonus (code STARS1), a Monday Extra Free Spins offer of 20, 60 or 120 spins, a Wednesday reload of 100% up to 100 EUR (code BONUS100) and no-deposit free spins at registration. The general rules in section 10.1 decide how long each bonus governs the account, and the answer is longer than the bonus balance lasts.
- Active until the withdrawal is processed. Clause 10.1.7 counts any bonus as active from the moment it is claimed or granted until a withdrawal request has been processed, or until the balance reaches the zero-out threshold of 1 EUR, and it makes no difference whether the player is using the real money balance or the bonus balance. A player who has lost the bonus and is playing on with deposit money is still under it.
- A €3 bet limit, and no feature buys. "All games have a maximum betting limit of 3 EUR (or equivalent in other currencies) per game round/spin during bonus is active on the player's account." Gamble features, bonus buys and holding bonus rounds to open later are also forbidden. "Violation of this rule will forfeit the bonus and any winnings resulting from the bonus or other games that were completed during the active bonus period." A single spin above 3 EUR can cost winnings made with the player's own money, because those games were completed during the active period.
- No table games, live casino or sportsbook. Clause 10.1.8 forbids jackpot games, table games, video poker, virtual sports and races, live casino and any sportsbook bet while a bonus is active. A player who takes a bonus gives up every table and live game until the withdrawal is processed.
- Deposit-bonus cashouts capped at 5x the deposit. "Bonuses that comes with a deposit requirement (clause 10.2,10.3) have limits on withdrawal of 5 times deposit amount." Any balance above the limit is forfeited once it is reached or when a withdrawal is requested, and no-deposit bonuses are capped at 50 EUR, or 5 times the amount received when that is more than 50 EUR. On a 100 EUR deposit with the Wednesday reload, the most that can be withdrawn is 500 EUR.
- No wagering multiple, and a rollover with no ceiling. The document states no wagering requirement for the first deposit bonus or the reloads. The one multiple it does state is this: "We reserve the right to apply a rollover of at least 5 (five) times the deposit amount at our sole discretion as per AML policy." The only number a player can plan around has a floor and no ceiling, and the casino decides when it applies.
- 30 days from issue. Under clause 10.1.12 the casino has the right to remove bonus money or winnings from any deposit bonus, cashback, free spins, tournament reward or money reward that has not been successfully withdrawn within 30 days of being issued. The clock runs from the day the bonus is granted, not from the day its conditions are met.
- An abuse clause that reaches clean deposits. Clause 10.1.10 treats a deposit, with or without a bonus, as bonus abuse when it is not used for entertainment, and where the casino has sufficient grounds to believe the aim is an unfair financial benefit, "Winnings and subsequent gaming activity and wins will be revoked and annulled and the deposit is returned in this case." The deposit comes back, but the trigger reaches play with no bonus attached, and the casino decides what counts as unfair.
- Sticky bonuses and closed countries. The first deposit bonus and the reloads are "sticky" and forfeited once a withdrawal is requested. The first deposit bonus is closed to Argentina, Azerbaijan, Finland, Ireland, Japan and Mexico, the reloads to Ireland, and the no-deposit spins to 41 countries including Germany, Poland and Brazil. No-deposit free-spin winnings carry no wagering requirement, but a deposit is needed before they can be withdrawn. Players in Ireland are shut out of every deposit bonus the document describes.
The offers are sized in sections 10.2 to 10.4, but their reach is set in clause 10.1.7. Until a withdrawal is processed, the bet size, the game choice and the cap on what can be cashed out all follow the bonus, whichever balance the money is coming from.

The Casinostars KYC policy gives a player 30 days from the first request to send a valid ID and a proof of address dated within the previous six months. If the documents do not arrive, the team requests them again and the account is disabled, with deposits, gameplay and withdrawals all switched off. The request itself is an automated email sent when the player reaches a deposit threshold the policy does not state, and no withdrawal is processed until verification is complete. The policy names neither the amount that starts the clock nor what happens to the balance once the account is switched off.
The Casinostars general terms state that "All deposits must be wagered at least once before the player is able to withdraw any balance." The next sentence lets the casino ask for 5 times the deposit amount at its sole discretion, and the one after it says a charge of 20% may apply to deposits and withdrawals that have not been turned over. Withdrawals are capped at €2,500 a week and €10,000 a month, a withdrawal of €20,000 or more in winnings can be split into instalments without interest, and an account with no transactions for 6 months can be charged €5 a month. The turnover a withdrawal needs is 1x on paper, and the document leaves the casino free to make it five.
