Worse for players

Slightly Negative

Two paragraphs were deleted from clause 1 of the VeloBet General Terms and Conditions between the captures of 1 and 10 September 2026: the one naming the operator, Santeda International B.V. (Curaçao company number 151296), and its Curaçao Gaming Control Board licence OGL/2024/1798/1048, and the one naming Santeda International Limited of Limassol, Cyprus, as the licence holder's payment agent. Nothing replaced them, and the version line still reads 07/03/2025. The terms still bind the player to "the Company" and no longer say which company that is.

What this means for players

Clause 1 of the VeloBet General Terms and Conditions lost two paragraphs between the capture of 1 September 2026 and the capture of 10 September 2026. No other wording in the document changed, and no rule on bonuses, withdrawals, deductions or fees moved with them.

  • The operator and its licence. The deleted paragraph read: "velobet.com is operated by Santeda International B.V. , a company incorporated under the laws of Curaçao with Company Number 151296 and is licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Control Board to offer games of chance under license number OGL/2024/1798/1048 in accordance with the National Ordinance on Offshore Games of Hazard (Landsverordening buitengaatse hazardspelen, P.B. 1993, no. 63) (NOOGH)." The opening paragraph now describes the website only as "operated by us", so every later clause that gives "the Company" a right is given to a party the document does not name.
  • The payment agent. Also deleted: "Santeda International Limited, with registered office at Poreias, 2 3011, Limassol, Cyprus, acts as a payment agent of the license holder and parent company - Santeda International BV." A player who sees a company name on a deposit or withdrawal can no longer check it against the terms.
  • The complaints clause still points to a regulator. Clause 15 is unchanged: "If the dispute is not resolved on the casino management level, you can contact any independent body, gaming authority or the licensing regulator listed on the Website." The last step of a dispute now leads to a regulator the terms themselves no longer name.
  • The version line did not move. The page reads "velobet.com • Version 07/03/2025" before and after the deletion. A player checking the version to see whether the terms had changed would conclude they had not.

No amount, limit or deduction changed. The contract is the same, and the name of the company on the other side of it is gone from the page.
