Betzard No Longer Reserves the Right to Shrink a Pending Withdrawal Once Its Money Is Bet

Better for players

Slightly Positive

Betzard has deleted clauses 6.16, 6.17 and 6.18 from its General Terms & Conditions, the three rules that said a withdrawal request does not reserve or freeze the requested funds and that the Company reserves the right to reduce, modify or cancel the request if the player bets that money before it is processed. Nothing replaced them, and every clause after them moves up three numbers, from the business-day processing rule (now 6.16) to the 5-day refund rule (now 6.25). The written right to shrink a cashout because the player kept playing is gone, but the terms now say nothing either way about whether pending money stays playable.

What this means for players

The 11 September version of the General Terms & Conditions set out three rules for the time between a withdrawal request and its payment. The 16 October version deletes all three and changes no other wording in the document.

  • Pending money is no longer described as playable. Clause 6.16 read: "Submission of a withdrawal request does not reserve or freeze the requested funds." It went on to say that the requested amount stayed part of the available balance and could be used for bets until the request was processed. A cashout request sat in the same balance the player was betting from.
  • The right to cut a request goes. Clause 6.17 read: "If the Player places bets or otherwise uses all or part of the funds included in a pending withdrawal request before such request has been processed, the Company reserves the right to automatically reduce, modify or cancel the withdrawal request to reflect the remaining available balance." A request could end up paying only what was left after the bets.
  • The liability disclaimer goes with them. Clause 6.18 read: "The Player is solely responsible for ensuring that sufficient funds remain available in the account until the withdrawal request has been processed." It also stated that the Company would not be liable for losses from using money already included in a pending request. The risk of a played-down cashout was written onto the player in advance.
  • The processing window is unchanged. Requests are still reviewed Monday to Friday, with agents processing them from 6 AM to 5 PM GMT, under what is now clause 6.16. A player can still hold up to 3 pending withdrawals at once (6.14), within limits of 500 EUR a day, 1,500 EUR a week and 5,000 EUR a month (6.13). A request made on a Friday evening still waits for Monday, now without a clause saying the money can be played in the meantime.
  • Other routes to a cancelled withdrawal remain. Clause 6.10 keeps the right to cancel any withdrawal on suspected fraud, collusion or illegal activity, and clause 10.4 lists cancelling any pending withdrawal among the actions available, at the Company’s sole and absolute discretion, on a reasonable suspicion of fraud, improper activity or any other breach of the Terms. The deletion removes one reason to cut a cashout, not the others.

The rule that let a played-down request be cut is gone, and no rule took its place. The terms now neither freeze pending money nor say in writing that it stays in play.

What changed

Was Pending withdrawal funds remained in the active playable balance and were not frozen. Wagering those funds allowed the casino to automatically reduce or cancel the withdrawal request.
Now Clauses 6.16–6.18 were deleted entirely, removing the explicit policy that pending cashout funds remain active for wagering during review.

Betzard Privacy Policy
-1 Score
Slightly Negative Initial Assessment

Betzard's Privacy Policy lists occupation, marital status and family, and hobbies as identity data, beside name, date of birth, passport number and a photograph, and keeps transactional data for at least five years. It names both the National Ordinance on the Protection of Personal Data and the GDPR as the law it processes under, sets out the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and states that a person makes the final decision in its automated checks. After the rights comes this sentence: "It is important to note that notwithstanding such rights, The Company may still refuse such a request if it can reasonably justify such a decision." The rights are written out in full, and the sentence that follows them leaves the company to judge when they apply.

Very Negative Initial Assessment

Clause 3.9 of Betzard's General Terms & Conditions says that a player who closes an account with a positive balance or a pending withdrawal has all the funds frozen for up to six months and is returned the last deposit amount, after which the casino reserves the right to withdraw the funds. Clause 3.10 says section 3.7, which introduces these closure conditions, still applies to a request to self-exclude. Withdrawals are capped at €500 a day, €1,500 a week and €5,000 a month, winnings from the First Deposit Bonus are capped at 10 times the deposit and never more than €500, and an account with no login for more than six months can be charged €10 a month. A player who self-excludes with winnings in the account meets the same terms as one who simply wants to leave.

Betzard Bonus Terms & Conditions

Negative Initial Assessment

Betzard's bonus terms, last updated 26 August 2026, put a x40 wagering requirement on every deposit bonus in its €4,000 welcome pack and cap free-spin winnings at 10 times the deposit. Two clauses reach past the bonus to the whole balance: postponing a bonus round played with bonus money until wagering is finished, or until a new deposit is made, gets the account blocked and all funds on the balance seized, and activating a bonus more than once from one device, IP address, address, phone number or payment account ends in the same confiscation. The document also gives three maximum bets for bonus play, €5 in each deposit bonus and two different defaults of €6.50 and €10, and from the fourth deposit on it adds a bonus even when the player has ticked "I don't want to receive any Bonuses". In both seizure clauses the deposit is part of what is taken, not only what the bonus produced.
